5. Zamalek FC $18 Million

Zamalek SC is one of the oldest football clubs in Africa having being formed in 1911. Over the years adopted various names before finally settling for Zamalek. 4. Club African $20 Million

Was founded in 1920 in Tunisia's capital Tunis. The club boasts 13 league titles and has also attained continental honors over the years. They are the fourth Richest club in Africa

3. Pyramids FC $22 Million

This is by far the youngest club on this list . Having being for in 2008 as Al Assiouty Sport, they were promoted to the Egyptian Premier league in 2014.

In 2018 they were taken over by Saudi billionaire Turki Al Sheikh. The club name changed with the new ownership and alot of money has been invested in the club hence its rise.

2. Kaizer Chiefs FC $23 Million

Kaizer chiefs is the only club not from North Africa to make this list. The club was formed in 1970 and it's one of the most successful clubs South Africa. 

1. Al Ahly SC $28 Million

Al Ahly is the most successful club in Africa. The club was formed in 1907 in Cairo, Egypt. 

They are 8 times CAF champions league winners and have won the Egyptian Premier league 40 times.
